Toyota Prado J150 is one of the strongest all round choices in a Kenya car hire fleet when the client wants comfort, presence and the confidence of a proper four wheel drive platform. Courtesywide can position it in two clear ways. It works as a Self Drive vehicle for experienced clients who need a larger SUV for intercity travel, family journeys and routes where additional ground clearance is useful. It also works especially well as a chauffeur driven executive vehicle for airport pickups, senior management movement, VIP guests, private appointments and longer road transfers. The cabin can accommodate up to seven occupants depending on the exact unit and seating arrangement, although luggage requirements should always be considered before confirming the maximum passenger load. For an executive chauffeur booking, four to five passengers with normal luggage gives a more comfortable balance. The raised seating position, substantial cabin and stable highway character make the Prado suitable for Nairobi movement as well as longer journeys to destinations such as Naivasha, Nakuru, Nanyuki and other major towns. This vehicle should not be presented as the same product as a purpose built pop up roof safari Land Cruiser. It can support selected road based leisure travel and lodge transfers, but specialist game drive work should use the dedicated safari vehicle category where appropriate. The current Topstar detailed rates page lists the Prado J150 at KSh 15,000 for the 2 to 6 day band, KSh 13,500 for hires of 7 days or more and KSh 11,000 for the 1 to 3 month band. Its general rental terms state that the daily rate includes rental, Collision Damage Waiver insurance and a 200 kilometre daily allowance. Fuel is excluded. Chauffeur service adds a published driver allowance, and all quoted source rates are stated as subject to VAT. Courtesywide should reconfirm the final rate, insurance excess, deposit, route and exact allocated unit before accepting payment.
