A compact shared safari for travellers who want to concentrate their time on the Maasai Mara rather than spend a short holiday moving between several parks. The journey leaves Nairobi for the Mara, crossing the Great Rift Valley before reaching the reserve area for the first wildlife-viewing session. The second day is the core safari day, giving the group a full day to explore the open plains, riverine zones and productive wildlife areas with a professional driver-guide. Because this is a group-joining departure, the vehicle is shared with other booked guests and the route inside the reserve is coordinated around the group while still responding to current wildlife activity. The final morning provides a relaxed departure from the Mara, with an optional Maasai cultural visit available separately before the return drive to Nairobi. Courtesywide keeps cultural visits, balloon safaris and other extras outside the base package so guests only pay for the experiences they choose.

Maasai Mara Lenchada Tourist Camp Lunch & Dinner

Meet the safari team at the confirmed Nairobi collection point for a short departure briefing before travelling west toward the Maasai Mara. The road crosses the Great Rift Valley and continues through Narok toward the Mara ecosystem. Lunch is arranged en route or after arrival depending on the operating schedule. After check-in at Lenchada Tourist Camp, join the afternoon game drive for the first introduction to the reserve’s grasslands and wildlife. The objective of this drive is not to rush through the reserve, but to begin reading the landscape, following current sightings and giving the group time for photography and observation before returning to camp. Dinner and overnight are at Lenchada Tourist Camp.

Hot Air Balloon Safari Early morning / approximately 3–4 hours

A sunrise balloon flight over the greater Maasai Mara landscape, normally followed by a landing experience and breakfast arrangement depending on the operator. It is sold separately from normal game drives and must be pre-booked.

Maasai Cultural Village Visit 1–2 hours

A hosted cultural visit introducing Maasai homestead life, traditions and community stories. The visit should be arranged through an appropriate local host and presented as an optional cultural experience rather than part of the game-drive description.

Maasai Mara Lenchada Tourist Camp Full Board

After breakfast, spend the main safari day inside the Maasai Mara with the shared group and driver-guide. The exact game-drive circuit changes with wildlife movement, road conditions and current sightings, allowing the guide to work through productive plains and riverine areas rather than follow a rigid sightseeing checklist. Expect time devoted to resident herbivores, elephants, predators, birdlife and the wider savannah landscape. A picnic-style lunch may be used to maximise wildlife-viewing time, depending on the confirmed operating plan. The group returns to Lenchada Tourist Camp later in the day for dinner and the second overnight stay.

Maasai Mara Breakfast & Lunch

Begin the final day with breakfast at camp. Guests who have pre-booked the optional Maasai cultural experience may visit a local village before departure, subject to the day’s schedule. The group then checks out and begins the return journey to Nairobi, with meal and comfort stops arranged according to the confirmed departure plan. Arrival is expected later in the day, followed by drop-off at the designated Nairobi point. Any airport transfer, additional Nairobi hotel night or onward travel should be confirmed separately unless it appears in the final booking inclusions.

No. This is a group-joining safari. You share the safari vehicle with other booked travellers on the same departure.

How many seats are sold per vehicle?

Courtesywide inventory is structured around 8 seats per vehicle. The reference tour advertises a maximum of 7, so the final operating vehicle and seating configuration must be confirmed before departure.

Can I add a balloon safari?

Yes. A Maasai Mara balloon safari can be added separately, subject to weather, operator availability and the current supplier rate.

Where do we stay?

The reference accommodation is Lenchada Tourist Camp for both Mara nights. If the property is unavailable, any substitute should be confirmed before payment.

Can a solo traveller join?
