The route begins with two nights in the Maasai Mara, continues through Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha, then reaches Amboseli before ending at Diani Beach on Day 6. The safari combines mid-range lodge/tented-camp accommodation with shared vehicle transport and provides a clear bush-to-beach progression. Jambo Mara Safari Lodge, Lake Nakuru Lodge and Sentrim Amboseli Lodge are the reference accommodations. The source package does not include post-arrival Diani accommodation on Day 6, so Courtesywide should treat the beach hotel as a separate extension unless it is specifically added to the quotation.

Maasai Mara Maasai Mara National Reserve Jambo Mara Safari Lodge Lunch & Dinner

Depart Nairobi with the shared group and travel toward Maasai Mara. After arrival, check in at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge and begin the safari section with an afternoon wildlife drive when timing permits. The first day introduces the Mara’s open savannah and provides the group with its first major wildlife-viewing opportunity before dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Hot Air Balloon Safari Early morning / approximately 3–4 hours

A sunrise balloon flight over the greater Maasai Mara landscape, normally followed by a landing experience and breakfast arrangement depending on the operator. It is sold separately from normal game drives and must be pre-booked.

Maasai Cultural Village Visit 1–2 hours

A hosted cultural visit introducing Maasai homestead life, traditions and community stories. The visit should be arranged through an appropriate local host and presented as an optional cultural experience rather than part of the game-drive description.

Maasai Mara Maasai Mara National Reserve Jambo Mara Safari Lodge Full Board

Spend the day in the Maasai Mara with the driver-guide, following the strongest wildlife areas available to the group. The shared safari format gives a full day for savannah game viewing, photography and time around productive predator and herbivore habitats. Return to Jambo Mara Safari Lodge for dinner and the second night.

Nakuru Lake Nakuru National Park Lake Nakuru Lodge Full Board

Leave the Mara after breakfast and travel toward Lake Nakuru National Park. The day transitions from broad savannah into the Rift Valley, with wildlife viewing arranged in the Nakuru section according to arrival time and the confirmed operating schedule. Dinner and overnight are at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Naivasha Sentrim Amboseli Lodge Full Board

Continue the Rift Valley section after breakfast, with Lake Naivasha forming the next destination in the source route. The lake provides a different atmosphere from the national parks, with optional boating or birding possible where timing and the confirmed departure plan allow. The journey then continues toward the southern Kenya sector as arranged by the operating programme. Because the source accommodation sequence places Sentrim Amboseli Lodge across Days 4–5, the exact transfer timing should be reconfirmed before publication of a specific departure.

Spend the main wildlife day in Amboseli National Park. The shared vehicle explores the park’s plains and wetland habitats, with elephants among the key attractions and possible views toward Mount Kilimanjaro when conditions are clear. The driver-guide adjusts the route to wildlife movement and park conditions. Return to Sentrim Amboseli Lodge for dinner and overnight.

A guided stop at Observation Hill for elevated views across Amboseli’s plains and wetlands. It works well as part of a park day while remaining a clearly identified experience point.

Diani Breakfast

After breakfast, leave the Amboseli region and travel toward Kenya’s coast. The wildlife portion of the journey gives way to the Indian Ocean as the group reaches Diani Beach, where the reference safari ends. No Diani accommodation is listed as part of the source package for this final day. Guests who want to continue the holiday can add a Courtesywide Diani hotel, airport transfer, marine excursion or longer beach stay as a separate booking component.
