11-Day Kenya Classic Safari & Diani Beach Private Holiday

Depart Nairobi in your private safari vehicle and travel through the Great Rift Valley toward Maasai Mara. Check in at the selected lodge or tented camp and, if timing permits, take an afternoon game drive to introduce the open savannah and resident wildlife. Return for dinner and overnight.

Spend a full day exploring Maasai Mara with your private driver-guide. Follow wildlife movement across plains and riverine habitats, allowing time for predators, elephants, plains game, birds and photography. Optional ballooning, cultural visits, walking where permitted or sundowners can be added separately.

Hot Air Balloon Safari Early morning / approximately 3–4 hours

A sunrise balloon flight over the greater Maasai Mara landscape, normally followed by a landing experience and breakfast arrangement depending on the operator. It is sold separately from normal game drives and must be pre-booked.

Maasai Cultural Village Visit 1–2 hours

A hosted cultural visit introducing Maasai homestead life, traditions and community stories. The visit should be arranged through an appropriate local host and presented as an optional cultural experience rather than part of the game-drive description.

Maasai Mara Sundowner 1–2 hours

A late-afternoon scenic stop arranged in an approved location with refreshments as the light softens over the Mara landscape. It can be used for couples, private groups or special-occasion itineraries.

Leave Maasai Mara after breakfast and drive to Nakuru. Enter Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive where timing permits. Focus on rhinos, birds, woodland wildlife and lake scenery before transferring to the selected Nakuru accommodation for dinner.

Begin with a final Lake Nakuru wildlife drive if required, then continue to Lake Naivasha. Check in and use the afternoon for relaxation or add a boat ride, Crescent Island walk or birding session. Activities remain optional so the guest can choose between active and relaxed pacing.

Travel from Naivasha toward southern Kenya and Amboseli. The road day is balanced with suitable comfort stops. Arrive at the selected camp/lodge and take a late-afternoon game drive if timing permits, looking for elephants and other wildlife across the plains and wetlands.

Dedicate the day to Amboseli National Park. Explore wetland and plains habitats, visit Observation Hill where practical, and watch for possible Mount Kilimanjaro views. Optional cultural, birding, photography and sundowner activities can be selected separately.

Leave Amboseli and travel to Tsavo West National Park. The scenery changes toward lava flows, wooded hills and spring-fed habitats. Visit Mzima Springs if routing and current conditions allow, then continue with a private game drive before dinner and overnight at the selected Tsavo West lodge or camp.

Take a final early Tsavo West game drive before leaving the park and continuing toward Kenya’s south coast. Arrive in Diani and check into the selected resort or hotel. The afternoon is intentionally free for beach time, swimming or rest after the safari circuit.

Enjoy a full beach day. Keep it completely relaxed or add a marine experience such as Kisite–Mpunguti/Wasini, snorkelling or a local reef excursion. Because sea conditions and operator schedules matter, all marine activities are quoted separately and reconfirmed close to travel.

Use the second full coast day according to your interests. Options can include kitesurfing, skydiving, Colobus Conservation, snorkelling or a sunset dhow. Couples may prefer a slow beach day and evening experience, while families can choose lighter activities. Courtesywide confirms each supplier before inclusion.

Enjoy breakfast and the final hours at the coast according to flight timing. Transfer to the confirmed departure airport or onward hotel. If your international flight leaves Nairobi, Courtesywide can add the appropriate domestic flight and Nairobi connection in the final quotation.
