9-Day Ol Pejeta, Nakuru, Naivasha, Maasai Mara & Amboseli Private Safari

Leave Nairobi for the central highlands and Laikipia, arriving at Ol Pejeta Conservancy for check-in and an afternoon private wildlife drive. Begin exploring the conservancy’s wildlife and conservation landscape. Where timing aligns with current visitor hours, include selected standard conservation points before dinner and overnight.

Use the morning for further Ol Pejeta wildlife viewing and a visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary under current operating arrangements. Continue to Nakuru after lunch or at the agreed departure time. Enter Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon drive if time allows, or check in and prepare for the following morning.

Start with a focused Lake Nakuru game drive through lake-edge, woodland and open habitats. Search for black and white rhinos and enjoy the park’s birdlife and scenic viewpoints. Later, transfer to Lake Naivasha and settle into the selected lakeside accommodation. An evening boat ride can be added if operating conditions and arrival time are suitable.

Choose a relaxed lakeside morning or add a boat ride, Crescent Island walk or birding experience. Depart for the Maasai Mara and arrive at the selected camp or lodge. Take an introductory late-afternoon game drive if timing permits, allowing your guide to assess wildlife movement for the following full day.

Spend the entire day in the Maasai Mara with a flexible private wildlife programme. Follow current predator reports, explore riverine sections, watch plains game and allow extra time at strong photographic sightings. Optional ballooning, cultural visits, conservancy walking, sundowners or bush breakfast arrangements can be added separately.

Hot Air Balloon Safari Early morning / approximately 3–4 hours

A sunrise balloon flight over the greater Maasai Mara landscape, normally followed by a landing experience and breakfast arrangement depending on the operator. It is sold separately from normal game drives and must be pre-booked.

Maasai Cultural Village Visit 1–2 hours

A hosted cultural visit introducing Maasai homestead life, traditions and community stories. The visit should be arranged through an appropriate local host and presented as an optional cultural experience rather than part of the game-drive description.

Maasai Mara Sundowner 1–2 hours

A late-afternoon scenic stop arranged in an approved location with refreshments as the light softens over the Mara landscape. It can be used for couples, private groups or special-occasion itineraries.

Leave the Mara after breakfast and begin the longer transfer toward southern Kenya. Depending on the confirmed operating plan, break the journey in Nairobi for lunch, a rest stop or an overnight transit if required by timing and hotel choice. Continue toward Amboseli when practical and check in at the selected lodge/camp. Courtesywide confirms the exact road timing before sale rather than promising unrealistic driving hours.

Spend a full day in Amboseli National Park. Search the open plains and marshes for elephants and other wildlife, use Observation Hill where appropriate, and watch for the possibility of Mount Kilimanjaro appearing beyond the park. Optional birding, cultural and photography experiences can be added through the activity library.

A second full Amboseli day lets the guide change sectors rather than repeat a rushed circuit. Begin early for wildlife activity and photographic light, then adapt the rest of the day according to sightings and guest interests. Add a cultural visit or sundowner where appropriate, or keep the day entirely focused on game viewing.

Enjoy an early game drive or relaxed breakfast depending on onward flight timing. Leave Amboseli and drive back to Nairobi for drop-off at the confirmed hotel or airport. Guests with late departures can add a Nairobi meal, day room or city activity separately.
