6-Day Samburu, Ol Pejeta & Lake Nakuru Private Safari

Depart Nairobi and travel north through Kenya’s central highlands toward Samburu. As the route progresses, the scenery becomes drier and more rugged. Arrive at the selected lodge or tented camp, check in and take an afternoon private game drive where timing allows. The Ewaso Nyiro river system is a key focus for wildlife movement, and the wider Samburu region is known for distinctive dry-country species as well as elephants and predators. Return for dinner and overnight.

Leave Laikipia after breakfast and travel toward Nakuru. Enter Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon private game drive or, depending on travel time, check in first and enter later. The park offers lake scenery, varied birdlife, viewpoints and important black and white rhino conservation. The guide adapts the route to current wildlife reports and available time before returning to the selected Nakuru accommodation for dinner.

Begin with an early game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, taking advantage of cooler morning conditions for wildlife and photography. Explore suitable lake-edge and woodland areas before exiting the park and driving back to Nairobi.
